Tribology

The IREIS test benches permit to simulate the reality of the systems thanks to industrial tribometry installations and to laboratories which recreate the functioning conditions.

Special equipments

Among the vacuum deposit machines park (more than 150), HEF conceived big dimension equipment for the treatment of pieces the size of a meter and beyond. It allowed also the realization of pre-series at pilot scale for R&D projects.

Laser Texturing

IREIS is developing since 2005 the surface texturing for tribological, optic, and other applications. Since 2012, for the purposes of the excellence equipment, IREIS participates at the laser texturing platform called MANUTECH USD – a public-private partnership – put into place to improve the processes and answer the large series demands.

Characterization techniques

Many characterization of coating properties are available in the laboratory, in the domains of the topography, adhesion, hardness, or optic, electrical properties.

Other technologies

In addition to its own means, IREIS disposes of all the technologies and the know-how of HEF Group. From the varnish to the polish, even nitridation, nickel plating and recovered powders, IREIS disposes of various  technologies permitting to approach many different problematics.
